The GKSL was the setting for the 2016 Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! (Downtown's We're Not Errand Boys!!) "24 Hours No Laughing Doctor of Science" special, one of the long-running variety show's annual year-ending " batsu (punishment) games".Orders had to be sent in by January 31 2018, and the set was mailed out in July that year. This set was a special mail-away offer available with purchase of the 2017 DVD/Blu-Ray of the Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! "24 Hours No Laughing Doctor of Science" special, which the set's deco is based on. though the grill for the sound gimmick makes it nigh-illegible. The Giant Fujiwara toy in this set has numerous "Gaasuu Kurobikari Science Laboratory" brandings on it, including the logo on the forehead of the "big head mode", and on the robot-mode chest.
